Forward Thinking

The following is a message that came to me recently.

“Why do we want to know more about things and experiences that already exist, when there are so many new and undiscovered things as yet to be defined and understood.”

My guides were very clear and quite humorous with this. It wasn’t as though they were disappointed but rather tired of seeing us playing the game and not winning. Imagine being at the carnival and trying a game over and over and spend a lot of money without winning a prize.

This is what they showed me. And as much as they would like to be the game owner and offer a prize free for all our effort they can’t.

Our guides can nudge us in different ways but can’t make decisions for us.

They’re hoping we’ll literally “see the light” and expand toward it releasing our grip on the past.

With so much potential at hand this was a powerful message. It asked us to see beyond our regiment of everyday routine and with a sneaky grin say “I’m ready for more. I want more.” To look beyond the math, we know works and allow a new formula in.

Invent a bold new truth!

I read this about Winston Churchill, and it’s always stayed with me. During the 1940 Battle of Britan, long before he knew how the war would play out, Churchill had a team preparing to repatriate Germany after the war. This was not just forward thinking, it’s a dream for the future. It involved himself but also many millions of people and many nations.

We all have an innate desire to be big and bold, envisioning greatness for ourselves and others.

Isn’t it time for all of us to dream beyond what is little and known. To be large and expansive. To bring this expansion into our lives and those of others.

This message reminds me of indigenous people who plan for future generations without a need to be there when a dream unfolds.

It reminds me of great wine makers who found and planted the first vine but never lived to taste the wine the grapes produced.

We are in a time of transition now, moving toward a much brighter future.

Let’s all speak as Churchill, dreaming of things that seem impossible. Speaking our dreams in silence if this is easier and speaking our dreams often.

I know that the prize that eludes us spinning in the past will show up in dreaming a bright new future.
