The Sounds of Music

This little adventure started while driving and listening to music. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon when this song came on.

“Betcha by Golly, Wow” by the Stylistics.

Within 30 seconds, I was carried away, and after listening to the song once, I replayed it. I yelled “wow” out loud and then asked myself these questions.

How could a voice be so beautiful? How could it be so true and innocent and pure? How was it possible for a human to do this, to be so magical, to speak every emotion all at once?

I felt everything that came through and knew this wasn’t superhuman but a gift.

When I got home, I looked up this song and found Russell Tompkins Jr to be the singer.

Talking Yourself to Sleep

It is so interesting how our busy minds can show up when our heads hit the pillow. Sometimes, it’s about nothing important, or even stressful, just an interesting thought or idea that keeps us awake.

I’m most creative in the evening so bedtime can often still be rich with ideas. Usually, I can take a few deep breaths, close my eyes, and quickly fall asleep. Other times it’s not so easy.

I’ve learned a process (very much by accident) that has helped me fall asleep and would like to share it with you.

Below is what I do.

I was lying in bed ready for sleep and drew my attention to a workplace I knew in my teens and early 20s. I had a part-time job in a school as a cleaner which through high school and college paid a lot of bills. I enjoyed this job and got to know this school as well as anyone could.

At this moment in bed, my mind intuitively opened the front door and I started walking through the main hallway exploring all the features, looking at trophy cabinets, walls, doors, floors, etc. The next thing I know it’s morning and I’m getting up after a great night’s sleep!

The Illusion

For many years I’ve wondered how the universe presents itself to us and me.

We hear about many things such as our collective experience and our personal experience within the collective. We hear about backdrop or background people as though our experience can be filled in with people to satisfy our reality.

My curiosity tries to understand and resolve how reality is created, yet in the end, I simply allow simplicity to breathe for the universe. Does it matter how it all works?

Recently, I spent a week in Orlando Florida with family. On this trip, many things were exposed and more clearly defined. I became aware of old energy being purged. Much of this exhale came through strong and present-moment experiences. What was significant was that others close to me saw and felt this too. This allowed me to witness a collective and personal healing like I had never experienced before, as we were all shedding and being unburdened together. Watching us cling to the old even when it didn’t make sense was fascinating, and then finally allowing release.

Healing and alignment were just part of the package.

I normally experience visions in a meditative or dream state with a smaller percentage occurring while fully awake. Personally, I like visions while awake because they can be better understood and of course trippy.

While in Orlando, I was shown many visions (stories) in my daily awake time.

I was advised that we are now in a new time energetically where we will understand and discern information live and in the moment. This was not new to me, but what was new was the level of information being provided in this live format.

The Gift of a Second Chance

My father was starting end-of-life care at an Ottawa hospital and I had just arrived for what had become my daily visit. He was growing less aware and my time with him was becoming more solitary, although it was still nice to be in his company and share this way.

Today I was lucky and able to park closer to the hospital. It was a gloomy, grey day in November with a lick of wind to enhance the understanding of the coming transition into winter.

I pulled my coat together and hunched to maintain warmth as I walked to the crosswalk, and then along the path to the main entrance.

I noticed a man walking in the opposite direction, along the driveway with parked cars between us. He had a cane and was moving slowly and with poor balance. My first thought was “Where could he possibly be going without help as he looked that frail?

By now I was almost stopped, worried, yet excited for every new step this man took. Others were watching too and as he approached the crosswalk I assumed someone closer would assist him. This was not the case. He staggered across the road and up a cut in the sidewalk, gathering himself for the remainder of the journey to his vehicle.

Depth

We were having a dinner party recently and steak was on the menu. As the day closer I looked up cooking instructions as we don’t have steak often and I wanted to ensure I remembered all the tips. This was also a chance to see if anyone was doing anything new and exciting with meat!

I read through a couple of articles and found a lot of common ground. Something that everyone insisted was important was to let the cooked meat sit before eating, 10 minutes seemed the guideline. This allows the meat to finish cooking, which is difficult when people are hungry. But we waited and the meal and steaks were a big success!

Fast forward a few days. I’m doing something completely unrelated, rushing along when my guides tap me on the shoulder and say “What’s the rush? Do you remember the steaks? They had to sit for 10 minutes. There was a reason for the wait and the outcome was enhanced greatly.”

I recall stopping immediately and knowing this was the absolute truth. The guides were not scolding me for anything in particular. This was just another tap like many they have shared lately.

The Magic of a Sneeze

Recently I was sitting on our front porch with our dog. It was a beautiful and warm evening and a neighbor saw us and came by to say hello.

We weren’t together long before another friend showed up. Matthew is a neighbor’s son and is just a wonderful spirit. He is in the sense of our world challenged in that he wouldn’t learn or socialize like most but this has never stopped Matthew from fully enjoying life.

Matthew waved from the street turned toward us and marched up the driveway, asking if he could sit and visit with our dog Tucker. Matthew is always welcome so I gestured for him to have a seat.

Matthew lives a block away and spends his summer evenings visiting people in our neighborhood.

One day when I was at the grocery store he came over and we started chatting, which concerned his mother. I think she wondered who I was and how I knew her son, to which I told her we live around the corner and see Matthew often. This brought a warm smile to her face and she said, “I hope he’s not bothering you.” I told her that he’s not and is always welcome.

Christmas Vacation (summertime)

This story is not about the movie but rather a dream I had this week. You’ll understand in a minute!

Unlike most dreams I have, this dream happened in phases like chapters in a book. It all started around 3 am, ending shortly before I awoke at 7:30 am.

In this dream space, I was very aware of my surroundings and the interactions I had with people. I sensed it as more a reality than a dream.

The dream started with me visiting a small community that I understood to be in the United States. I arrived there and immediately had a guide waiting to show me around. I spent several days in this town as my dream progressed.

My guide and I took in all the towns’ events. She was a beautiful woman who reminded me of Peggy Bundy.

The reason for the title Christmas Vacation is because the townsfolk were oddly like characters from the movie. A few people could be characterized like Clark and his wife, silly but in leadership roles. Everyone else took after Eddie (male and female), very playful and lighthearted.

Everyone was odd in a good way and as the scenes (phases) played out I got to meet many of them. I saw all aspects of the town, its people, its traditions, and its inner workings.

Flash of Light

Recently, a number of individuals in the spiritual community have spoken about a flash of light. My understanding of these comments is that a unique light (seen or unseen) will come to the earth to shine light on all of mankind. This light is said to be positive and structured to help people shift into a more heart-centered energy and way of being.

As much as I’d like to see and experience such a magical moment my focus is always on the present and what is happening now.

My experience with light coming to the planet is different from what is described above. I’ve been shown many instances of increased light and energy flow. Some might see this as galactic or universally inspired, but my intuition tells me these energies come directly from the Great Central Sun.

The smaller “flashes” I’m experiencing are brought through subtle awareness and honestly, leave me speechless with each encounter. I’m sensing moments of purity, completeness, and love. And with each experience, there is an outward flow or expansion of energy onto the planet.

Multidimensional

Some of you might feel like I do on a car road trip. I find it very liberating and freeing but more than this, there is an element of expansion. There is a feeling of connectedness to all in the universe. The road and the feel of moving almost create a magic carpet of experience(s).

I cycle, and today I was out riding trails and enjoying the beauty of this early July day and letting the gentle breeze and sunshine breathe into my experience. The reason I mentioned road-tripping is to help this idea along. I rode at an easy pace, observing my surroundings in the same, easeful way. The more I let go of the world and let it become part of me, the more I sensed these universal openings and connections. I didn’t feel connected to the earth or my bike in a normal sense, and with the air rushing past, I could almost experience what a bird feels in flight. This, along with many very peaceful and light moments, came to me on my ride.

The trail I rode was about an hour ride, and I’m overjoyed and grateful to have spent this time exploring.

There is so much magic out there to explore.!

The Unraveling (a message)

Recently I was shown an image of a towel being wrung or twisted. It was twisted far beyond a normal range and looked completely distorted. I was being shown the twisted and distorted energy we are experiencing on the planet at this time.

The towel was pulling itself apart from the inside out, fibers collapsing to the pressure.

As I watched, they came in and spoke, “We are at a breaking point and many unhealthy energies need to be released.”

“If you remove this pressure all at once there will be harm to aspects within. The towel must be relaxed slowly in the same way pressure was originally applied. We are here to help you.”

If this wasn’t clear, the towel is a metaphor for humanity.

I was shown the inner workings of the towel and understood the relationship(s) within. Individual people connected, holding hands, standing shoulder to shoulder, some crowded very tightly. What struck me most were the energies people or groups held.
