Simplicity

It’s not often I sit down to write and can’t find words but here I am.

Keeping things “simple” has become who I am. Leaning back and letting things just develop on their own without pushing or pulling. Allowing my eyes to see that which is without adding story. Stepping away from opinion, pride.

It would seem odd to let go of what we have compiled as us.

Scared to see our outstretched hand empty, to see nothing there.

Yet, the more we allow space without explanation or understanding, the more we actually hold. It’s a different kind of hold, nothing yet everything exists within.

If we look to nature, we see just how perfect it is. Complicated and still. A story of miracles without the need to present. A vision without statement or tale.

We are not creatures of such nakedness.

Our lives can become a complication of deliverables we can’t even see. Unknown things we travel heavy with.

In simplicity we see the potential beyond busy. The light inside an inspired sound. The level through a passing hurt. The instruction beyond a lesson.

It’s not high or low, left or right but the singular instance of everything. Something complex but dusted of all institution.

A dream beyond a dream.
